True Survivor Superbird

Numbers matching, all original day one driveline, exhaust, belts hoses, paint, interior, glass……

The astounding history of this Tor Red 1970 Plymouth Superbird begins simply enough when it was delivered new to Ed Ousley Chrysler-Plymouth in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. As documented by its original window sticker, owner’s manual, factory invoice, factory advance shipping notice, warranty computer punch card, MSO and two broadcast sheets, it was ordered new with 440 CID / 390 HP Six-Pack engine, Torqueflight transmission, performance axle package, EV2 high impact paint, bright exhaust tips and 15’’ Rallye wheels. When it rolled off the assembly line, it was the 200th Superbird completed and the 100th Six-Pack. In all, it was one of 408 440 Six-pack/Torqueflight cars of roughly 1920 Superbird produced – but those numbers are not what makes this car so rare.
